National Network of SDG Data Providers

ESCWA in collaboration with the National Statistical Offices jointly working together to establish a transparent and accountable network of expert SDG Data Providers to improve the timely data flow from administrative records at both country and global levels as per the request of the 48th UN Statistical Commission to make available a list of national entities which provide data to the international system. In addition to improved data reporting and dissemination, data discrepancies and errors will be reduced, and duplication of efforts will be eliminated. The SDG National Network includes contact information of national experts in each ministry by SDG Indicators.

E-calendar of custodian agencies

ESCWA in collaboration with 40 UN Agencies jointly worked together to establish a transparent and interactive E-calendar for SDG data collection as per the request of the 48th UN Statistical Commission to improve the timely data flow of national administrative records to the international system and to share their data collection calendars. The objective is to facilitate the work of national statistical offices in monitoring and tracking the progress of data compilation from National Statistical Systems. The E-calendar includes information on the periodicity, data collection, and release dates including the mode of inquiry from administrative records.
